Every Academy instructor is CPR and first-aid certified.

Our instructors complete practical emergency-response training and begin every class with a clear safety briefing. They remain close throughout the experience to guide the process and provide personalised assistance.

The working still is hot

Each table includes a live, heated still. Please do not touch it. Follow your instructor's directions and keep phones, bags and loose belongings clear of the working area.

Tell us about allergies

Some rums and flavour ingredients contain dairy, nuts or spices. Tell your instructor about every allergy before tasting so they can recommend what to avoid. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Must be 16+ to participate

Guests must be 16 or older to participate. Only guests aged 18 or older may consume alcohol. Pace yourself, use the water provided and never drive after drinking. Please arrange a designated driver, taxi or our optional transportation.

No smoking or vaping

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in the mini distillery, including the classroom and areas around rum-making equipment.
